Alchemy Kids Theatre (AKT) established in Chennai in the year 2003, is a pioneer in training children from the age group 4 years to 14 years in Creativity, Communication & Personality Development skills enhancement through its Developmental Drama curriculum.
DRAMA is a unique platform to explore & express human feelings and for developing Social & Personal skills across all age groups. Training in theatre through developmental drama enhances listening & conversational skills, leadership skills, self-esteem, confident body language, expressions, concentration & creativity, positive frame of mind, social etiquette, cross pollinating ideas, problem solving skills and many other positive skills & qualities. At AKT, students will be able to grow and develop integrally without losing contact with their souls. Theatre-based activities can be used strategically to create safety, build trust, find shared values, shift perceptions and generate breakthrough ideas — by combining right-brain imagination with left-brain logic and analysis. The Developmental Drama program of AKT aims at nurturing and transforming the young minds to effective and creative leaders of tomorrow.
AKT has its training centres located in Chennai at Adyar, K K Nagar & Anna Nagar.
The courses offered by AKT facilitate learners to observe, explore, experiment and also empowers them with positive skills in communication, creativity, presentation & leadership. Over sixty thousand children form across Tamilnadu have been educated & transformed through the Developmental Drama curriculum of Alchemy.
